Now that you have your samples and are ready to move forward, the Pro Plan will be the next step. Your sourcing agent will take care of you from production to delivery, all at a cost of five to 10 percent of the total order’s cost.

Step One: Gather, and evaluate the customer’s specific needs
Communication is key to any successful relationship. For us to have good communication between the customer and the manufacturer, a Products Requirements Document is necessary. Scmarc uses this document to design a full procurement plan for the customer’s needs.
Step Two: Order, ship and examine product samples
It is always wise to get samples from three to five top suppliers of the specific product. scmarc will label the sample with the supplier ID and product information. Scmarc looks to the world-renowned brands for customer products. We share the customer needs and get the necessary requirements from the supplier. All important information, including qualification and perception, is sent to the customer.
Step Three: Select the supplier of the products
A picture is worth 1,000 words. However, the real thing is worth 1,000 pictures. Scmarc puts the products in the hands of the customer. The supplier evaluates the customer at the same time. This mutual selection process means the order can move forward and smoothly.
Step Four: Product package design
Scmarc can help with product packaging and recommend including the barcode on the product box. Adding the barcode during this phase reduces overall cost.
Step Five: Appropriate photographs for Amazon
Amazon requires photographs of products. Scmarc will recommend photography plans and costs. The chosen sample will go to the photography studio along with a color box if the customer has chosen one.
Step Six: Begin production, and follow progress
The customer will pay the customary Proforma Invoice amount. Scmarc will sign a binding contract with the supplier. We then follow production progress and provide regular updates in real time.
Step Seven: Final inspection services
Factories normally require final payment before shipping. Scmarc will have a third party inspection company come in for a review, check product quality and generate a report. The final payment is made only if the customer’s standards are met.
Step Eight: Labeling and packaging
Before finalizing for shipping, Scmarc will send packing information to the customer along with different Amazon shipping rates.Customers select the most reasonably priced Amazon warehouse. Outer carton labels are made available, and Scmarc arranges factory labeling or enlists the warehouse staff for labeling.
Step Nine: Pick & Pack
Scmarc will inspect and verify all products are in good condition and accurate quantities per Amazon’s packaging requirements. It is common to combine orders from a variety of suppliers as a cost saving measure. Product repackaging is offered if necessary.
Step Ten: Ship to Amazon warehouse of choice
Scmarc handles everything – Cross docking, box forwarding, pallet forwarding and container services. You will get a notification when the order leaves our warehouse and on its way to the Amazon Fulfillment Center. Congratulations! You just completed the Amazon FBA process without breaking a sweat!
